The first-ever Science Symposium was hosted by Queen’s College, the theme being ‘Science of the Past, Present, and Future.’ The event was for Grade 10 – 12 learners from GHS, Queen’s College, Hexagon High School, Hoërskool Hangklip and Nkwanca High School. Learners were inspired by insightful talks from Chris Bradfield (Environmental Assessment Practitioner) and keynote speakers Ryan Nel (Paleontologist), Aviwe Matiwane (Paleobotanist) and Nozuko Ngqiyaza (Ecologist) from Rhodes University.
