At the Education Department’s Awards Ceremony, based on the excellent quality of our matric results, GHS was awarded ‘The Best Performing School in the Chris Hani District’ AND ‘The Best Performing School in Cluster B. Cluster B refers to one of only two clusters in the Eastern Cape Province.
Our Dux Scholar, Anuja Jomon, was awarded the second top achiever’s award in Cluster B, and our number two performer, Marquerite van Eeden was the top achiever in the district! Truly a fine performance from our young ladies and their supportive teachers!!
