Alison Muir represented South Africa at the Open KL Junior Squash Championship in Malaysia, starting with a 9-16 seeding. She lost 3-0 to Malaysia’s 5-8 seeded player, initially ranking 16th. Alison played three more matches, improving her ranking to 15th with a win in her final match.
After a break, Alison competed at the Singapore Open Junior Squash Championship, beating Taipei’s No. 1 player 2 – 0. She then lost to Singapore’s top player, Saiesha Ranjan, in a close match.
Alison gained valuable experience and returned home proud of her achievements. Well done Alison on flying the GHS and South African flag flying high.
