GHS REACHING OUT

Girls' High School recently got involved with Mzomhle Junior Primary School situated at the foot of the Lukhanji mountains about 40km from Queenstown. This school has 74 learners ranging from Grade R to Grade 4. The school boasts with 5 teachers but Miss Sylvia Nomtshongwana, the School Principal, has not got an office for her administrative duties. She has been using her car as an office for the last few years. Mr F Taylor, Headmaster at Girls' High School, and Mrs A Rossouw, Bursar at Girls' High School, saw it fit to donate a photocopier and a box of paper to this needy school. Featured here is Mr Finlay Taylor, Miss Sylvia Nomtshongwana and two staff members from Mzomhle JPS. From the photo of the school you can see the state of the mud building, which they are in the process of fixing up.
