ACHIEVERS OF GHS

Nontlantla Mkwenkweni, Head Girl of Girls' High School, played for Border in the u/18 Girls' National Inter-Provincial Tournament held in Pietermaritzburg. This team did extremely well by winning 6 of their matches and drawing 1. "Tollies" as their team was known, beat Southern Free-State 2 - 1 in the final and they won the A-Section of this tournament. Nontlantla was selected for the South African u/18 B team as a result of her excellent performance at this tournament. Added to this achievement, Noni was also selected for the Eastern Cape u/19 Team and they will be attending the South African Games in Polokwane in October.
